Ion exchange removes hardness minerals; a salt-free conditioner leaves them in place but reduces how readily scale sticks.
Hardness level, household size and peak flow decide the capacity and regeneration settings that suit your property.

Much of Florida's drinking water is drawn from limestone aquifers. As groundwater moves through that rock it dissolves calcium and magnesium, and those minerals are what make water hard. It is a regional characteristic rather than a fault with your plumbing, and it affects municipal and private well supplies alike.
A softener addresses hardness minerals. A filter addresses taste, odor, chlorine and sediment. Homes that want both softer water and better-tasting water are usually served by a softener working alongside whole house water filtration, and we confirm which combination fits during the assessment.
Florida well water can carry iron or hydrogen sulfide alongside hardness, and both can foul a softener if they are not handled first. Where a property is on a well, the assessment establishes what is present so the treatment sequence is set up in the right order.
